The youths interprovincial game between Connacht and Leinster — where a win will see Connacht be crowned champions — will form the centre-piece of Saturday’s Connacht Rugby Open Day at the Sportsground.
The youths interprovincial game between Connacht and Leinster — where a win will see Connacht be crowned champions — will form the centre-piece of Saturday’s Connacht Rugby Open Day at the Sportsground. The Open Day will start at 12 noon and the clash of Connacht and Leinster youths will kick-off on the main pitch at 1pm. Admission will be free to the match and all the other activities. With Connacht having beaten both Ulster and Munster, a win on Saturday would see them lift the Inter-Provincial title! The Connacht rugby Open Day in aid of Special Olympics Ireland will get under way at 12 noon and continue into the afternoon with events planned for all members of the family. Free car parking will also be available at the Sportsground and throughout the afternoon there will be bouncing castles, obstacle courses, kicking and try-scoring competitions. The Connacht squad will be in attendance throughout the afternoon with a series of events planned for all members of the family. |
