The Connacht rugby Open Day in aid of Special Olympics Ireland will take place next Saturday, September 19, at the Sportsground.
The Connacht rugby Open Day in aid of Special Olympics Ireland will take place next Saturday, September 19, at the Sportsground. The event was due to take place last month but had to be postponed because of inclement weather. Events will get under way at 12 noon and continue until 3pm on Saturday. Admission to the Sportsground for the Open Day will be free of charge, with events planned for all members of the family. Free car parking will also be available at the Sportsground and throughout the afternoon there will be bouncing castles, obstacle courses, kicking and try-scoring competitions. The Connacht squad will be in attendance throughout the afternoon with a series of events planned for all members of the family. The Connacht Youths will also be taking on Leinster U18 at 1.00pm in what promises to be an exciting encounter with both teams vying for theInter-Provincial title. With both teams having beaten Ulster and Munster it will be a winner takes all showdown! |
