Connemara RFC hosted a National Schools tag blitz on Thursday 20th February at their Monastery Field grounds.
Connemara RFC Tag Blitz Connemara RFC hosted a National Schools tag blitz on Thursday 20th February at their Monastery Field grounds. The tournament was a result of the work of Connemara RFC YDO Michael Joyce, who has spent the season coaching tag rugby in National Schools throughout the local area. The blitz itself was a great success with over 200 children enjoying a fun filled days rugby. The standard of rugby played by the schools was outstanding with girls and boys adept at handling, running and scoring tries. Special thanks must go to all the children for their enthusiastic participation, to the teachers for their support and to Connemara RFC for hosting the event. |
